<p>Whilst domain authority is both useful and important for SEO efforts, Google have repeatedly stated that it is not a metric that they measure, record, or use in any of their ranking algorithms.&nbsp;</p>



<p>So…it doesn’t affect my Google SEO? Well in the eyes of Google, DA means nothing, but that doesn’t mean it has no impact on your SERP (Search Engine Results Page) rankings. Google still use the individual metrics behind “domain authority” in their ranking processes, such as number of backlinks to your page, the quality of the links to your page, the strength and relevance of the content on your page etc.</p>
